.009 Cold Fire
This piece was inspired by a very colorful and bright person. It seems she had her hair dyed in all possible colors :) Artwork is called Cold Fire because she looks cold on the outside, but there’s fire in her heart!

Lighthouse
The mysterious lighthouse stands lonely on the shores of the cold sea. The water shimmers with color on this moonless night. The salty air diffuses the horizon. It seems like nothing exists around the lighthouse but the darkness.
Acrylic on canvas, 5 x 7 in
.008 Sunflower
The original photo which I used as the reference was so sunny and light that I just kept seeing sunflowers in this picture. Still not entirely pleased with the results, since the picture seems a bit dark and flat to me :( I will try to improve in my next practice.

Evening Snow and Eurasian Bullfinch
This type of bird is common in Ukraine and Russia. Every winter, they would come and brighten up white snowy trees with red dots. This is my favorite winter bird :)
Acrylic on stretched canvas.
5 x 7in, 0.6in thick.
Panda Fishing
This painting depicts a panda who is fishing on the lake in tranquility of the morning. He just doesn’t fancy the taste of plain bamboo. Mr. Panda is a gourmand, so bamboo stuffed fish is more like it.
Acrylic on stretched canvas.
8 x 10 in, 0.6 in thick.
